The site needs to be cleared of rocks, trees and any other debris that will interfere with construction. The first contractors on the site are the groundworks team, they prepare the site and are also responsible for the all important foundations that will support your home. Footings are formed to serve as a support system during construction and to keep your home from sinking, the foundation walls are formed and if there is to be a basement that is dug at this time.

Step 2: Building and Installing with Precision
The foundations need to be inspected before any other work can commence. When they have been given the ok the footings are removed. The floor system, walls and roof system are constructed next, this is known as the shell or the skeleton of the house. When the shell is up, plywood or another type of sheathing is applied to the exterior walls and the roof, this is to prevent water from penetrating. The windows are installed at this point and the siding and roof installation process can begin. At this point in construction, our professional electricians and plumber will run the necessary pipes and electrical wires through interior walls, ceilings and floors.

Step 3: Adding the Final Flourishes
In the final stage, the plumbers will install sewer lines, and plumbing for the kitchen and bathrooms, the bathroom and kitchen fixtures will also be put in their respective positions. Heating and ventilation ductwork is installed and the floors, walls and ceilings are insulated. More inspections are needed before the last steps of drywall and fixtures are completed. Drywall is hung on the interior walls and taped the walls are then painted. The last things to be installed are the trims, interior doors, and windowsills. At this point driveways, patios and other outdoor structures can be constructed.
